Our first espresso blend was the most important: Sumatra sets the base with an earthy body; Papua New Guinea adds layers of complexity to the aroma, and Brazilian Arabica completes the blend with nutty flavors and gentle acidity. It has sharp flavors on entrance but the crema calms the palette creating a smooth, fruity and clean finish.
We independently roast our beans in small batches locally to ensure freshness and quality.
Our vintage Probat roaster was built to maintain a consistent heat and allow airflow control when operated by a single person.
Each roast is then tasted to ensure consistency and quality of each batch.
As social sustainability and fair trade purchasing practices are important in our pursuit of the perfect cup of coffee, we source our beans from small farm producers all over the world.
